The summer music Brooklyn season started already!. And this one of the reasons why I definitely feel grateful to live in New York. A beautiful effort has been done by many people to bring some of the best artists to perform a broad list of music genres.

Last friday had the opportunity to be part of this beautiful concert of Esperanza Spalding and Jose James. My God, such beautiful voices, impeccable develop of the set and warm connection with their art. Esperanza is one of the names that has been around my career as a singer, inspiring all kinds of creativity through her powerful performances, full of abstract melodies, scales and lyrics. With a raised knowledge in Berklee College of Music, she has clean voice, a clean soul and, most of all, a respectful behavior towards music.

So, as I live right next to Prospect Park, I’ll do my very best to attend to as many as possible events and I’ll be posting some beautiful music and performing experiences along the summer in my Facebook, and Twitter @anniekallpa . I invite you to be connected and let me share some of the beauty of music. Nevertheless, if you’re in New York, I encourage you to join me and a group of “music-people” to go enjoy this magnificent event called CELEBRATE BROOKLYN – BRIC.
